Welcome to the Tweed Valley ospreys

2008 is the 10th year of nesting ospreys in the Scottish Borders.


Events in May: Discover Wildlife in your Backyard!Yong osprey chicks waiting to be ringed weighed and measured.

Free Guided Walks on Saturday the 17th May, 2pm, Glentress Forest and Sunday the 18th May, 2pm, Kailzie Gardens.

Meet at the Osprey Watch centres, wear sensible shoes and outdoor clothing. All children should be accompanied. Walks last approximately 1.5hrs.  In wet weather, indoor activities will be available.

On bank holiday Monday, 26th May, 11am to 4pm, there are free kids' activities and an information day at Kailzie Gardens Osprey Watch Centre.  Find out about the wildlife in your area and how to see it.  Come and see our Demonstration Wildlife Garden and be inspired to create your own!
