Community inclusion at Westonbirt Arboretum - People for You Westonbirt Arboretum youth activities

Bringing new audiences to Westonbirt

The community team works to enable new audiences to experience the wonders of Westonbirt Arboretum.

With Heritage Lottery funding, we have worked with a variety of groups to develop a range of activities to engage new and hard-to-reach audiences.

Working with groups of young people and adults at risk of exclusion, a diverse programme of activities has been created.

Community Inclusion Programme for adults

Supporting adults to visit, explore and learn about Westonbirt through day visits, inspiring outreach and multi-session programmes to build self-esteem and self-confidence.

Community Youth Programme

Working with young people through the Team WB youth forum, Wild Westonbirt youth club and practical conservation activities.

Westonbirt has support from Heritage Lottery Fund to work with community and youth groups until 2017.

Please contact the Community Team to discuss the support we can offer your group, which might include reduced entry costs and support to cover transport costs.
