Trail description

In December 1980 several sightings of a UFO were reported in Rendlesham Forest...

Interpretation sigh for the UFO trail in Rendlesham forest. Many people think these mysterious events are the most significant UFO incident to have occured in the UK. There is no tangible evidence on the ground, but following the trail with the help of our leaflet and your imagination, an intriguing picture can be painted.

To help your children round the UFO Trail, why not look for the strange symbols on the posts and decode the message with help from our Alien Trail Leaflet, available from the Forest Office.

quite a successful trip, the band thought we'd go up there and take a look. sadly Frank was abducted, we are in communication with him via a medium. we lost four hours but then it's difficult as we did have a few bottles of JD.

seriously, this is a great place to visit, well done to the rangers who set it up

Took my husband and 2 boys (5yrs and 7 months) today as none of them had ever been and I haven't been since a child. Had a lovely walk even if we accidentally did the 3 mile ufo trail when we only wanted a little stroll, oops! Loved finding the hidden bug maze and climbing frame in the trees. By the end my 5 year old was a little exhausted but he enjoyed finding the ufo. Perfect trail for the pushchair as well. Will definitely be coming again for a lovely nature walk.
