Picnics & BBQ
(Average user rating: unrated unrated)

Picnic & BBQBirches Valley is the perfect play for a sizzling BBQ or summer picnic

Pingle Slade, known as our concert site, is a large open area within the Pine Forest, prefect for picnics; BBQ’s and balls games, only a short walk from the Birches Valley.

The forest is a beautiful place, so we ask that visitors take away all rubbish or use bins provide at the Cafe. BBQ's must be raised of the ground, have water to extinguish it and take away all embers.

What do other visitors say?

hi. is it possible to bring a gas bbq?

Steve Harper, 23/May/2017

Unfortunately we do not allow gas BBQs on our site due to the increased risks associated with them within a Forest environment.

Do u have to book a bbq at cannock chase

We do not have fixed BBQ's at Birches Valley. You are welcome to bring your own but we ask that your BBQ is on a stand, in an open area away from overhanging branches, you have ample water to extinguish your BBQ after cooking and you take your rubbish away with you.
