Cycling in Wendover Woods

Whether you've just bought your first bike, or you're happy shredding through rock gardens, Wendover Woods and the surrounding area offers a fantastic opportunity for natural cycling.

1. Young cyclists and family trails

Learn to ride your bike in the forest! Cycling in the forest is one of the safest and most relaxing ways to pick up confidence and develop cycling skills.

Exploring the many forests roads provides a safe and enjoyable way to develop your cycling skills and learn to ride.

Once you're comfortable on your bike, bring the family for a relaxing ride along the Blue graded Family Cycling Trail, which follows surfaced tracks through the forest. Follow the green and white bicycle waymarkers!

2. Cross Country & Downhill Mountain Biking

Ready for a challenge of fitness, technique and skill? Craving your next adrenaline fix? Visit the nearby Aston Hill bike park for a technical MTB experience. The park features five graded downhill (DH) runs, a two-part cross country (XC) loop, a pump track and a 4X track.

Please note to ride the Aston Hill bike park you will need to purchase a pass.
