The car park charge was 1.50 for a day ticket. Now charging per hour and it can cost you double, far more if you get a ticket. Beware the car park police if you overstay your welcome. Parks are meant to encourage family activity. Has someone lost the plot? This is as mad as the cafe closing at 3:30pm during the week at the height of summer. Has someone lost the plot here or is the a national strategy to raise money. Indeed what is your thinking behind this. This is an excellent facility being destroyed by poor decisions. I will definitely use this facility less for fear of overstaying my welcome.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. The car park charges were increased for the first time in 3years on the 1st April. These increases are in response to reductions in central government funding and have been necessary to make up this shortfall. We believe our charges are in line with those charged by similar country parks in the area and of course the annual Discovery Pass at £36 a year (under £1 a week) presents excellent value for our most regular visitors. We hope that visitors understand the need for the charges to ensure that we can keep managing and maintaining Jeskyns and secure it's future. We will ensure your comments regarding the café closing times are passed on to Churchill Catering (who manage the café business) and ask them to look at this issue. Thank you again.

Very good walks for the dogs and kids, was there a duck pond there?

Thanks for your review - glad you enjoyed your visit. We have Henhurst Lake on site (head past café - bottom of hill) on which some ducks occasionally visit.

Thank god and the Forestry Commission, Jeskyns team and local authority for recognising there is a need for a dog friendly park..Top marks !

Easter Sunday, well attended and hundreds of people with all breeds, enjoying a stroll, and letting their dogs be dogs.

No hassle, no one worried about the wet ground, muddy gate entrances (Could do with some wood chip guys) or the dogs being themselves woofing and running around in the areas allowed.. Brilliant enclosed doggy excersise areas so safe to let you pooch be a pooch and nowhere to run off away to, a pond for them to take a dip (Although personally I'd love to see a fence and a gate across the area so those dogs with little recal ability, like ours, can be safely let off and not have to worry about them running off if the local farm bird scarer goes off.

Long walks, equestrian friendly ride area, saw some lads on mountain bikes all behacving sensibly and seemed welcome.

Friendly peoople all around.

Expect dogs to be dogs and come say and enthusiastic hello with the accompanying muddy paws or wet coats, and you'll not be dissapointed.

Family friendly areas with swuings, slide, climbing equipment in a forest theme, plenty to see and space to enjoy...Great for wearing out the kids as well as dogs.

Well done all concerned.. We will be back as this was our first time.

Robbie smelled of pond and hated the bath after tho LOL!
