Been to Forest Live a few times now - Paloma Faith 2015, Tom Jones 2017. Would have loved to have gone again 2018 but been watching the page for who is on, and then next thing I know it's Gary Barlow and it's all sold out. Thought we may have got an email or something advertising given that we have been in previous years.

Rebecca Stafford, 1/Dec/2017

Hi Rebecca, I have bought tickets before and I received an email the week that Gary Barlow tickets went on sale. I am sorry you were unsuccessful. Let's hope you like the Sunday line up!

Long queue for Tom Jones, so missed supporting act , could have done with more than two lanes to get in ! , however a great night, love it how you can take a picnic and 1 litre of alcohol, very spacious once in, and could have a walk to the front of stage to see Tom up close! , easy access for parking and exiting the grounds .

Saw Olly Murs at Sherwood Pines, got there early so we got right to the front. Brilliant concert, the only negative thing was my friend had her cans of beer confiscated while being searched which they said was a last minute decision! Apart from that a brilliant night was had by all.

We saw Elbow perform here last night. Relaxed atmosphere. A perfect venue for a band you have to see outdoors. Stunning sunset adding to the mix. The stewards were ace. Getting in and out by car was smooth and quick. Can't wait to come back. A thoroughly enjoyable time.

Olly Murs was great last night, again a beautiful setting with ultra friendly staff. Word of warning though to anyone going for the first time - you cannot take deckchairs right to the front of the stage so take a picnic blanket if you want to be at the front. Also, go to the loo before going back to your car and enjoy the walk back - you are in for a long wait. Get the deckchairs out once you get to the car park and enjoy!! I think Olly went off stage about 10.20pm and we got out of the carpark at around 11.40pm!

Came to see The Vamps & Union J in 2015. Great venue, excellent organisation. Was able to get really close to the stage & the atmosphere was brilliant. So nice to go to an event so laid back with no pushing & shoving. EXCELLENT.

We went to see Jake Bugg, the venue was brilliant and so was Jake until it came to the encore; we were told that we didn't shout loud enough for an encore so the show finished early than planned and we had to wait an hour for a taxi home. Didn't really get our money's worth.

What a fantastic hometown show Jake Bugg played. The venue was amazing, and the crowd on the whole were so friendly. Jake sounded incredible, and his setlist was brilliant. I loved that he opened the show with 'Strange Creatures', just him and his guitar. Magic! Well done Jake!

Great concert on Friday June 24th at Sherwood.

Just one niggle. When I couldn't locate my carpark area, none of the stewards were able to help! Luckily it didn't take too long to find.

Saw heaton and Abbott in sherwood pines.

Absolutely fantastic concert, superb venue & great atmosphere.

Can't fault the venue or the staff and H&A were awesome .

Access along the main road was dangerous. Loads of people on foot walking to the concert. On a 60 mph road this is a recipe for disaster. The 40 mph limit should be extended a mile along that road BEFORE the concert to protect walkers & cyclists.

Coming out after there were so many cars that they had to go slow , but before the concert you need to help protect your patrons .

Came to see Guy Garvey, have to say the organisation was good, site excellent, a fab night. The only downside was not being able to find our car in the dark afterwards as it was so dark and the row numbers were not lit up. Thankfully we were all buzzing from the gig and managed to laugh it off.

Fantastic night on Friday. Need to get wifi installed as no phone reception but apart from that.....AWESOME VENUE AWESOME NIGHT.

Excellent venue, but needs to be better organised at the end. Getting transport even a short distance is very difficult. It is chaotic at the taxi pick up points. I think shuttle buses to Edwinstowe and the campsite would be an excellent idea and quite profitable too.

We may be over 60, but we thoroughly enjoyed the 'GLB' and c Duncan at Sherwood forest. Fantastic night and great work from the sound guys - much better than Darby forest last year. Friendly event staff, so thanks. Much appreciation for a brilliant night!

Brilliant night listening to Paul Heaton and Jackie Abbott. No trouble that I saw, just a nice chilled out evening. Also toilets were clean and well stocked all night!

Amazing evening in beautiful surroundings watching Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott, who, by the way, were outstanding. The weather was wonderful which made the night even better. The only disappointment for me was seeing all of the rubbish strewn on the ground after the concert. Sherwood had put huge skips on site for people to dispose of their rubbish................shame some folk are too lazy and disrespectful to perform this simple act.

Brilliant night Paul heaton and Jackie abbot, great songs old and new, plus only ten minutes to leave the venue
