PHYTOPHTHORA CITRICOLA . A severe outbreak of this fungus in 1 + 1 Pseudotsuga menziesii showing effect of root and stem base death on the aerial parts of the plants . Notice the paling and dead needles and in particular the completely wilted tips of some leaders . Location: Rogate Nursery , West Sussex , England .
