Learning Activities in Sherwood Pines

Sherwood Pines offers fantastic learning opportunities for people of all ages and abilities, combining hands-on education with ideas for active minds.

With a large classroom for hire, on-site toilets, cafe and a variety of trails for all abilities, this forest is provides a wonderful setting for groups to carry out a range of learning programmes.

Early Years Teacher's Packs

A free pack of curriculum-linked activities to provide Early Years and Key Stage 1 educators with the tools you need to familiarise children with the forest and its environment in a fun and engaging way.

Ranger in a Bag

This resource provides all you need to run an exciting day of learning in the forest. With a wide range of activities including Woodland Art, Pond Dipping, Minibeasting, Orienteering and a WW1 Trench Experience there is something for every group.
