The Forests of Rothbury is the collective name for the Forestry Commission woodlands in the north and east of Northumberland, England’s least populated and most tranquil county.

Five sites, stretching from the distinctive table-top profile of Simonside in the south to Wooler Common in the north, not only offer beautiful forested walks but also wild moorland, spectacular crag top views and important archaeological sites.
