A weekend of FREE treats for Mothers at Westonbirt Arboretum

A weekend of FREE treats for Mothers at Westonbirt Arboretum

If you’re looking for somewhere special to take your Mum for Mothering Sunday weekend, then look no further - the Forestry Commission are celebrating and thanking all Mums this Mothering Sunday with FREE entry to Westonbirt, The National Arboretum. All mums accompanied by a responsible child (child can be any age!) can come in for FREE on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 March.

We’ve got plenty of treats in store too – drop in to our FREE Family event in the Learning Centre anytime between 11am and 3pm to discover some folklore links between trees and family ties and enjoy making Spring flower crafts together. Our Wonders of Westonbirt guided walk sets off on both mornings at 11am exploring the Old Arboretum, finding favourite spots and looking for signs of Spring. On the other hand if you fancy discovering some hidden gems and finding out more about the history and management of our woods then The Secrets of Silk Wood FREE guided walk at 2pm is just the thing for you and your Mum!

Whatever you choose to do on Mothering Sunday weekend, fit in a FREE visit to Westonbirt Arboretum to enjoy some family fun and fresh air – what a treat!

Family Event: 11am – 3pm, meet at the Learning Centre
