Forest health and bio-security

27 March 2012

What was the event?

The spread of Phytophthora ramorum in larch in recent years has highlighted the importance of everyone understanding and practising bio-security measures.  This indoor meeting provided an opportunity to hear about this disease, as well as some others, and management issues from the experts, especially from a practical point of view.

Confor non-member friends and colleagues were welcome.

Joan Webber, senior pathologist, Forest Research, talked on "Wider plant health and Pramorum".
