What was the event?

This seminar provided an opportunity to hear about the current Phytophthora lateralis infection of Lawson's Cypress at Balloch Castle Country Park. Speakers explained the current situation, the science of the disease, the relevant plant health legislation and the bio-security requirements.

A brief overview of Phytophthora ramorum and Phytophthora kernoviae was also given.
