What was the event?

This one day conference addressed major developments and opportunities within the Green Tech sector, as organisations search for technology solutions to address climate change and
respond to an increasing need for sustainable solutions. 

It explored some of new technologies emerging from current research and highlight some young companies operating in the Green Tech sector.

Businesses and researchers had an opportunity to better understand market opportunities.  Investors will be able to assess new businesses and get an insight into the political and economic drivers that are both supporting and challenging this market.

David Bott, Director of Innovation Programmes at the Technology Strategy Board was the keynote speaker.

Tony Hutchings of Forest Research spoke on ‘Technology development for Sustainable Urban Regeneration’.
