The Trees, People and The Built Environment 3 conference

Hosted by the Institute of Chartered Foresters (ICF), this conference is a unique gathering of built and natural environment professionals, working towards the shared goal of enhancing green infrastructure.  It provides an important platform for collaboration between professions from around the world and offers new research and practice on the environmental, social and economic benefits of urban trees.

The conference will be of interest to a broad of spectrum of urban greenspace professionals including arboriculturists, urban foresters, health officials, ecologists, researchers, planners and engineers.

As one of the conference partners, Forest Research warmly invites you to join the conference where we will hear about and discuss the greater integration of trees into our transport systems and the benefits trees have on human health.  There will be opportunities to meet with our staff and hear from Dr Kieron Doick who will present on "The Canopy Cover of England’s Towns and Cities: baselining and setting targets to improve human health and well-being" (Thu - Session 4).
