Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. My owner and me

My owner is called Simon, and he’s a roofing/building contractor who takes me for lots of walks. I get lots of people coming up to me to pet me, as I am a three-year-old chocolate Labrador. Must be my big puppy dog eyes that do it.

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Favourite treat

It has to be sausages. I'm not fussy on what kind, any will do!

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Best trick

I can beg with one paw, then the other, and then I can use both together – it’s a great trick that always gets good results.

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Arch rival

The hose pipe. It gets me every time!

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Favourite places for a walk

I love splashing about in the stream that runs through the centre of Poppy Wood - 365 days a year, no matter what the weather or temperature.

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Water stops

I tend to have a little drink form the stream when I get thirsty. Or from Simon if he brings a water bottle with him.

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Other useful information

This is a great site for dog walkers, and often gets quite busy. Visit Poppy Wood for more information about what's available on site.
