Find out about me, my owner and my favourite place for a walk in Kielder Water and Forest Park, as well as great dog friendly places to eat and sleep near by.

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. My owner and me

I am a two-year-old Labrador who is looked after by Alex, a recreation public affairs manager. I’ve got a scar on my front right leg, but it doesn’t hurt now. Well, it doesn’t stop me from running around and chasing anything I can track down at any rate!

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Favourite treat

A nice juicy bone – a simple pleasure, but they are just so good!

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Best trick

Ball catching. I am told I have amazing ball-catching abilities - I am a complete pro.

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Arch rival

The hoover. I run a mile when it’s started. It is just so noisy.

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Favourite places for a walk

I love to walk along the Lakeside Way in Kielder Water & Forest Park. The whole trail is 26 miles long, but me and Alex usually take one of the fantastic shorter walks along this route.

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Water stops

I often stop for a drink at Kielder Water Lake, which is adjacent to the Lakeside Way trail.

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Other useful information

Kielder is the largest forest in England and very popular with dog walkers. There is always a trail that is quiet given the scale of the forest, and with many miles of trails away from farmland there are plenty of places to allow for off lead walks. Visit Kielder Forest and Water Park for more information about what's available on site.
