Ruff guide to Moors Valley Country Park
(Average user rating: unrated unrated)

Find out about me, my owner and my favourite place for a walk in Moors Valley Country Park, as well as great dog friendly places to eat and sleep near by.

Mul the dog from Mors Valley Country Park

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. My owner and me

My real name is Mulberry, but I’m always called Mul for short. As a Labrador, I am out a lot with Justin the forest ranger at Moors Valley, helping him do his job so he doesn’t get too tired running around fetching things (I’m a much better runner than he is).

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Favourite treat

Cheese and biscuits are my favourites (and a small glass of port – only kidding!).

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Best trick

Loving little humans. I can normally be found anywhere near a toddler. They are so cute and are great at fussing me!

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Arch rival

Grey squirrels really get my goat.

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Favourite places for a walk

I get to enjoy the freedom of the whole forest at Moors Valley. Though I'm told that in the heath land areas which are home to reptiles and ground nesting birds we should keep to the tracks.

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Water stops

Water is always available at the visitor centre, for us dogs to have a drink from if we get thirsty.

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Other useful information

Us dogs are allowed off leads (if under control) in the wider areas of the forest, but around the Play Trail, Tree Top Trail and visitor centre country park areas we have to stay on the lead. Visit the Moors Valley for more information about what's available here.
