Find out about me, my owner and my favourite place for a walk in Wendover Woods, as well as great dog friendly places to eat and sleep near by.

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. My owner and me

As a Labrador-Collie-Whippet cross, I am a unique-looking dog, with a white chest and some white socks to boot. My owner Jo, a forester, has looked after me for nine years now, and I still get petted all the time.

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Favourite treat

My favourite treat is tuna. Haven't figured out how to open tins, but that's ok because Jo does that for me.

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Best trick

Being a bear (sitting up on back legs with paws up to chest). It’s a great trick that has earned me loads of treats. I can recommend it. I also smile, which is pretty special!

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Arch rival

I am not a fan of the postman – he never brings me any treats.

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Favourite places for a walk

I love all of Wendover Woods. Jo and I especially like the Hillfort walk to take in the views and see the big beech trees. We also love the variety of hills on the Firecrest Trail.

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Water stops

I often stop for water at the Cafe in the Woods. I'm told there is also a self filling water bowl on the toilet block that owners can use.

There are six dog waste bins located around the main car park and at two access points. Visit Wendover Woods for more information about what's available on site.
