Ruff guide to Friston Forest
(Average user rating: unrated unrated)

Find out about me, my owner and my favourite place for a walk in Friston Forest, as well as great dog friendly places to eat and sleep near by.

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. My owner and me

I’m a strong, healthy and very springy one-year-old Springer Spaniel, who is looked after by marketing manager Josephine. I have no war wounds yet, although I have had plenty of tumbles as I love running around – a lot!

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Favourite treat

Steak! Although I would prefer my ball, over anything really. It’s just so versatile. And I can wolf down a steak in no time at all, while I can take my ball with me to play catch whenever I like.

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Best trick

Tricks are for kids – I don’t do them.

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Arch rival

My arch nemesis is the hoover – it’s just so noisy! And I bark at bottles – I know, I’m puzzled by that one too…

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Favourite places for a walk

The White Horse View trail from the Forestry Commission car park on Litlington Road. It’s the best as I can have a really good sniff of everything, get really, really tired and there are great sticks to be found there too. The sticks are all mine of course.

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Water stops

There are plenty of streams to stop at for a quick drink.

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Other useful information

I'm told that dogs need to be kept on a lead around the main visitor area. Visit Friston Forest for more information about what's available on site.
