Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. My owner and me

I'm a Cyprus Poodle mix, who loves to keep my owner Lizzie, a visitor service assistant, on her toes. I'm 13 years old and have been on a plane three times, having moved out to Cyprus for a while!

I love cheese, especially Hallumi!

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Best trick

Talking. I can hold a great conversation too, just ask Lizzie!

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Arch rival

I hate the rain. It’s far too wet.

Making a bug home at an Eco-Kids event. Favourite places for a walk

There are a range of walking trials available for dog walkers at Cannock Forest, but my favourite has to be the Fairoak Trail. We often also go around the Route to Health community arts trail which is only one mile when we are running out of time! Dogs are allowed off lead, if we are under control that is.

The Birches Valley Cafe always has water in a dog bowl, so we dogs can have a drink after a good walk.

If you're looking for a challenge why not try orienteering with your own dog? We have the Ladyhill and Fairoak Valley permanent orienteering courses which have three different difficulty levels. Around the Birches Valley Visitors Centre you will find dog bins to dispose of dog waste but in the wider forest we encourage ‘Stick and Flick’. Visit Cannock Chase for more details on what's available here.Dog friendly places to stay
