Planning your day:

To help your day go smoothly and to help with your planning stage, example activity risk assessments and suggested learning objectives are available. We also provide other safety information for the site.

Whenever possible on all booked visits, a ranger will meet and welcome your group. This is a chance to meet a new face and someone who works for the Forestry Commission or their representative.

For both led and self led options a pre-visit is always recommended. This is to ensure you know where you can go, what you will be doing and what resources are available.

If you would like to organise a pre-visit or would like more information about the facilities, ideas for activities or to tell us you are visiting, please contact the learning team
