Trail description

View of the River Severn from Blaize Bailey. Forest of DeanThree circular walks, approximately 3 miles each in length, have been designed by the Ramblers, the first of which can be started from Mallards Pike Lake.

With a variety of views to admire en route, please allow about two hours for each loop.  All walks include uphill sections.

If you wish you can join two, or indeed, all three walks, into a pleasant hike of up to 10 miles.

The final loop leads from Soudley Ponds up to the Blaize Bailey viewpoint.

The route is waymarked by square posts with yellow arrow discs at path junctions.  It is advised to carry a copy of OS Explorer Map OL14.
