Dalby Dry Stone Wall Maze Stone Carving Workshops
Come and give stone carving a go in Dalby Forest! Led by sculptor Charles Smith you can learn how to carve your own initials in to a stone, and your stone will then be built into the maze wall, leaving your own mark on the maze.
Fear in the Forest
Family Halloween event. Come along to meet a rogue’s gallery of despicable characters which include Spooky Spectres and Gruesome Ghouls. Dastardly plots will be threaded together by twisted storytellers gifted in the dark arts of horror and suspense! In conjunction with Lady Lumley’s School. Walks start from the visitor centre where you will also find captive bats, live bugs and creepy crafts for children of all ages. The Café will be open throughout the event.
Stargazing with Hidden Horizons - Deep Sky Exploring
Join Hidden Horizons and enjoy a guided tour of the night sky, focusing on objects that reside far away from Earth within our Milky Way galaxy and even beyond, best observed through a large telescope.
Stargazing with Hidden Horizons - Moon Exploring
Join Hidden Horizons and enjoy a guided tour of the night sky including our nearest celestial neighbour, the Moon, our 4.5 Billion year old satellite. View the near first quarter Moon through a large telescope, observing large impact craters and lunar seas.
