Learning in Chambers Farm Wood

Chambers Farm Wood offers a fantastic learning opportunity for people of all ages and abilities, combining hands-on education with ideas for active minds.

We can offer a wonderful setting for groups to carry out learning programmes, as well as activities for the life long learner.

For ideas on the types of activities you could carry out in the wood please contact the ranger.

Careful planning is vital to the success of your visit and we recommend that group leaders make a pre-visit to ensure they know where to park, where they are going and what the facilities are.

Ranger in a Bag

These resource backpacks provide all you need to run your own successful educational visit in the forest.

Each activity bag contains equipment, games and resources for a class of up to 35 children and are most suitable for children aged 4 - 11 years old.

Each bag includes enough activities for a half day session so why not hire two bags of your choice to make your own full day programme.

Ranger Led Visits

This year we have opportunities for some ranger led sessions.

These sessions can be tailor made, linked to the National Curriculum and your learning objectives for the day.

Contact Us

For more information about the facilities, ideas for activities, to tell us you are visiting or to organise a pre-visit, please contact the Ranger.
