Where does your money go?

Funds from all vehicle admission fees are re-invested by the Forestry Commission into:

  •  Offering affordable, safe, healthy family recreation - with access for all
  •  Maintaining our facilities - signage, tracks, buildings, play equipment
  •  Providing staff and an information office, to help you enjoy your visit
  •  Managing the forest to protect the environment and provide safe    access
  •  Managing the National Pinetum - the world's finest conifer collection
  •  Carrying out vital international tree conservation work
  •  Delivering education programmes to thousands of people of all ages
  •  Offering volunteering opportunities
  •  Providing facilities for charities to stage fundraising events and    activities
  •  Telling people about trees, wildlife, sustainability, climate change
  •  Providing a valuable source of local employment
  •  Providing an award-winning outdoor recreation site
  •  Offering cycle coaching to people with a disability
