Old Hall Wood

Laying deadwood at Old Hall Wood       Old Hall Wood is owned by the Forestry Commission and is situated between the Rusland Valley on the east and Colton Valley on the west, near the small village of Bouth. It lies within the Lake District National Park.

The woodland covers an area of 36 hectares with approximately 28 hectares of broadleaved woodland and 7 hectares of conifers.

This page provides access to the Forest Design Plan for Old Hall Wood which is the Forestry Commission's core planning document. This plan was consulted on and approved in May 2012.
