The Woodland Carbon Code is the voluntary standard for UK woodland creation projects where claims are made about the carbon dioxide they sequester. Independent validation and verification to this standard provides assurance and clarity about the carbon savings of these sustainably managed woodlands.

What's of interest

!! 08 MARCH 2018 New version of the Standard and Guidance published !!

Anyone using Version 1.3 of the standard and associated documents has until Friday 08 June to submit for validation/ verification.  After that date, all documents submitted to validators/verifiers should be on the new (Version 2.0) documents.
