Sand Play

With the vast amounts of sandy soil on site, digging is an all time favourite with our younger visitors, so especially for them, we have a dedicated sand play area in our adventure playground.

Children playing

Beneath the leafy trees you will find a large, natural looking sand play pit. This year it has been extended and made even bigger with lots more sand to play in and a new Tree-mendous toddler tower; great for tiny tots to learn to climb, balance and slide. There is a wooden building site with a variety of equipment where sand can be carried by chains, pulleys and buckets. Then tipped and poured through chutes. The area also has a crane and mini sand diggers. You will also find two play houses - a very tiny one for our smallest visitors to squeeze into and a big wooden snail for climbing and quieter times.

Remember to bring your own bucket and spade for a good dig about in the sand.
