High Lodge is the place to be for outdoor adventure play. With the sound trail, climbing sculptures, sand play, slides, huge swings and den building to  name a few....only your imagination is the limit.

Unfortunately the Forwarder will be moving on after February half term. We have loved having it as part of our sculpture play trail and it will be sad to say goodbye. If you would like to play on it for one last time, make sure you visit High Lodge by 19th February to say farewell.

Why not upload your favourite memories of the forwarder to our Facebook page.

We have two main areas for you to explore and enjoy. The Adventure Play Area is where you will find a large range of equipment for all ages to enjoy. The Follow that Sound trail will take you on a musical journey through the forest. There is also another trail that will help you to discover the play areas at High Lodge; the 'Sculpture Play trail'.

We are always developing the wild play area and we have recently installed a Tree-mendous Toddler Tower! Teetering tots, courageous crawlers and assisting adults will have lots of fun playing on the new Toddler Tower. It's a great opportunity for toddlers to experiment and gain confidence sliding, balancing and even climbing. Even tiny tots will enjoy picnicking at the table hidden under the tower.

We also have two awesome new Tipis hidden in the Den building area. Once you find them you can play Cowboys and Indians, have a wild picnic or build your very own den.

For information on any of our trails or play area please visit the Information Point during your visit.

Our Wild play map is available for you to download.
