The English Woodland Grant Scheme (EWGS) is the Forestry Commission's suite of grants designed to develop the delivery of public benefits from England's woodlands.

Own or manage a woodland

The Forestry Commission encourages the management of woods in the region and may be able to assist you if you are the owner or manager of woodland.

Felling licences

To help protect Britain's forests, a felling licence from the Forestry Commission is required to fell trees.
