It would be good if you could show on your website if GoApe and Segway are closed out of season. We drove an hour and a half yesterday to meet up with some friends to enjoy a Christmas Segway only for the kids to end up very disappointed as it was closed! Our vouchers showed 31st Dec as valid until date so we (wrongly) assumed it would be open as I'd asked on our last visit in October if HL was open twixt Christmas and New Year and was told yes, but at no time did the information assistant mention that 2 of the main attractions at HL would both be closed!

Braziers, 28/Dec/2016

Thank you for your comments. Go Ape are a separate business that operates on site, and do advise that you book in advance so that you are not disappointed. If you follow the Go Ape links on our website it does advise that Go Ape are only open February to November. Unfortunately, you would need to take up the issue of the voucher expiry dates with Go Ape directly. We are sorry that you were disappointed that they were closed on your visit to the site but hope that you enjoyed the rest of the facilities available to you.

We enjoyed our recent visit to high lodge for our little mans birthday. We came to do the Stick man trail. This was good fun and enable but I will say slightly disappointing when the trail didn't end at 'the family tree' to actually find Stick man. Our little boy was a bit confused because he never actually found 'Stick Man' which we kind of thought was the point. The activities along the way we're good. The sculptures of the Gruffalo really good but to not end with a 'family Tree' to find 'Stick Man' left us slightly let down.

Perhaps you could look into building a better finish to the trail rather than a sign just saying 'you've finished'

Ross, 29/Oct/2016

Thank you for your feedback regarding the Stick Man Activity Trail. Due to the nature of Thetford Forest there are very few trees that lend themselves to being a 'family tree' but we do take on board that future trails may be improved by a feature finish. The Stick Man Trail will be open until the end of the year after which it will be replaced by something new.
