Organising events at Haldon Forest ParkThe Company of Wolves Haldon

Many organisations and groups contact us to hold events and activities ranging from group walks to cycle races and food fairs.

If you wish to organise an event on Forestry Commission land you will need our permission.

We need to check that the event is properly organised, has adequate insurance cover and doesn't clash with other events or forest operations.

Please give as much notice as possible, we require at least eight weeks.

Other activities may also require permission, including dog sleds, charity challenges and walking events.

Download this application form to hold an event in Haldon Forest Park, or alternatively please call us on 0300 067 4826.

E-mail your completed form or send to West England Forest District Permissions, Bank House, Bank Street, Coleford, Glos, GL16 8BA.

If your event is small and doesn’t require formal permission there won’t be any charge. For larger events we charge to cover the administration costs associated with granting permission and to generate income to reinvest into our forests and facilities.
