Trail description

The Willows Green Trail is ideal for getting a feel for what the forest has to offer to walkers. Its short length belies the range of woodland habitats it offers. From the atmospheric gloom of dark green conifers to the brighter woodlands of mature oak.Family on Forest Treasure

The trail is surfaced throughout but can be slightly boggy in places during wet weather. Despite this it is perfectly suitable for pushchairs.

The trail begins in the first car park on the right as you enter the forest and can also be accessed just below the Cafe on the Green.
