Following the lane down into the woodland and you will arrive at a small park and picnic place set amongst larch and broadleaf trees.

Paths lead from here to Falling Foss waterfall, the Hermitage and Maybeck Picnic Place.

Thanks for the comment Emma. There is no car park charge for Falling Foss and no official closing time however we do not allow overnight parking or camping on Forestry Commission Land.
