Have walked weekly in the forest for 7 years. 3 years ago I would have rated it 5 stars. Now due to excessive use by horse riders many of the tracks are almost unusable as they are so deeply rutted. Surely there should be some restrictions so everyone can enjoy the forest. Perhaps keeping out horses during the winter months would solve the problem.

We often visit silton and have recently noticed large amounts of broken empty bird egg shells ...why is this ? this normal.
