Dene Park is ninety five hectares of predominantly mixed broadleaf and a small amount of conifer.

It has a large car park and a good sized picnic area.

Please note

There is a height barrier at the main entrance - approx 1.8 metres high.

An important site for moths, dormice and butterflies.

This is a great place for wandering around, but there is a lack of information about the site and its history, and especially no maps or signs, so it's quite easy to become disorientated. Why don't you you post a map of the trails on the website for this location? It would then get 5 stars!

great woodland! amazing for cycling and walking but I would like more signs to show the history of the park and maybe some walking routes and about the wildlife, seen some amazing things here!
