Soudley Ponds, Forest of Dean

Soudley ponds are a haven for wildlife and are surrounded by an impressive stand of douglas fir trees.

The pondside paths are surfaced and start from both the north and south carpark. Bridges allow access between the ponds, please do not encourage children to play in or around the spillways.

A steep walk up the ridge takes you to the Blaize Bailey viewpoint overlooking the River Severn.

Soudley fishing syndicate lease the lower pond for fly fishing, the other ponds are nature reserves.
