Trail description

Family barbecue at Wenchford picnic site. Forest of Dean

The trail links up two popular picnic sites in the forest.

Following a stoned forest road for most of its length, the path runs through woodland rich in relics of its industrial past.

From Mallards Pike look for the trail start at the bottom end of the main lake (near the dog dip).

From Wenchford, you can pick up the trail from the Blackpool Bridge end of the car park.
