Restoring Ratty - Public Release Event

Water vole (Arvicola terrestris)




Join Northumberland Wildlife Trust for the second water vole release of 2018.

The Trust will show you the whole process of releasing voles and take you to some of the sites we have released at; there may also be the chance to release some water voles yourselves in small groups.

Transport is provided. There are no toilet facilities or refreshments available for this event.

Drop off back at Kielder Castle where there are toilets and a café.

Parking is available up the hill past the toilet block and cycle hire centre (car parking charges apply).

Numbers are limited due to transport so booking is essential.
