Heritage Craft Project - Paper Marbling

Family crafts

Paper Marbling - * Morning Sessions -   Fully Booked - only afternoon Sessions available.

Community & environmental charity Groundwork South is offering an array of exciting heritage craft courses for children…and best of all, they are completely free to attend! This is all possible thanks to the generous support of Farnham Town Council.

These workshops will focus on heritage crafts that are especially at-risk or of local interest. Plus, we’ll be making the most of our spectacular forest surroundings to add a unique natural theme to all crafts.

In our paper marbling sessions, we’ll explore the forest for interesting natural shapes and patterns. We’ll then use these ideas to inspire our marbled paper patterns. Each sheet of marbled paper is completely unique and we can teach you how to create small crafts from it to take home with you. These crafts may include; greetings cards, gift tags, and hanging decorations.

Despite its beauty and versatility, paper marbling is now deemed ‘critically endangered’ by the Heritage Crafts association. So why not sign up your child to help us to keep this wonderful craft alive?

Although free to attend, BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL!
