#WeHeartAutumn Photo Competition Terms and Conditions

  • All entries must be made between 3pm on Monday 23 Oct 2017 and midnight on Sunday 29 Oct 2017
  • Only amateur photographers are eligible for inclusion in this competition
  • All entrants must be 18 years of age or over
  • Entry is open to residents of GB including IOM or Channel Islands (excludes NI).
  • Entries will be accepted either by using the hashtag #WeHeartAutumn or via uploading an image to the online competition gallery

  • Though entrants may submit more than one photograph, each entrant will be able to win no more than one prize

  • In order to enter the competition entrants must follow the STIHL and Westonbirt Facebook or Twitter page, and use the #WeHeartAutumn or post photos in the comments section of the original post

  • Winners agree to take part in publicity around the competition
  • All photo entries must be of Westonbirt Arboretum and have been taken in autumn 2017
  • It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that any images they submit have been taken with the consent of anyone who is identifiable in that image or the consent of their parent/guardian if they are under 16 and that they have been advised of the purpose of the submission and that their photograph may be published by the Forestry Commission or STIHL.
  • Entrants submitting photographs must ensure that the image they are submitting is their own work, that they own the copyright for it and that they do not infringe the copyright or other rights of any third party or any laws.
  • Entrants submitting an image will retain copyright and moral rights to their however, by entering, all entrants: agree that their photos can be used on the Westonbirt Arboretum and STIHL websites and social media accounts in perpetuity.
  • All competition entries will be reviewed by our panel of judges who will decide on the winners. The decision of the judges is final
  • Each winner will receive one machine of their choice from the STIHL COMPACT Cordless range (excluding  the MSA140 C-BQ chainsaw), plus the recommended battery and charger. There is no cash or other prize alternative. 
  • Winners will be contacted by 5pm on 3rd November 2017 via direct message on Twitter or Facebook or via e-mail if the entry was submitted using the online entry form. Winners will also be announced on STIHL and Westonbirt’s Facebook and Twitter channels.
  • If a winner does not reply within three weeks of their being contacted, the Westonbirt Arboretum and STIHL reserves the right to withdraw their prize entitlement and select another winner
