Explore Wheatacre Wood
(Average user rating: unrated unrated)

This former landscape of arable and pastoral farmland has been transformed into a native broadleaf woodland.

The wood is also home to a fantastic series of ponds. Deer and hares are a regular visitor to the community orchard.

A small mound, once home to Tickle Farm, affords some elevation. Wheatacre also boasts some lovely trails for walking, cycling or horse riding.
