Livia Bury - Drinkwater - old driveDrinkwater Park is home to mix of native woodland and open meadows, connected by a superb network of paths.

Formerly home to Irwell House, a Georgian mansion that was later turned into an isolation hospital. Parts of the foundations can still be seen today. The River Irwell hugs the south west of the site.

There's lots to do on the site include family walks, cycling, mountain biking, football (Bury Amateur AFC), fishing (Salford Friendly Anglers), running or just taking in the views and wildlife. Check out our dedicated activities page for more information.

The National Cycle Network 6 and the Irwell Sculpture Trail run through the site.
