Mountain Bike Trails

Waterdale and Philips Park have a selection of fantastic blue and red mountain bike routes. While the whole of the area is criss-crossed with miles of well maintained trails perfect for family adventures or a day out in the countryside.

Planning your trip

Transport for Greater Manchester have some great online and printable maps to help you plan your mission.

National Cycle Network 6 is an experience in itself. Stretching from the heart of Manchester and up in to the Bury, you can follow this former railway line to commute into the city centre or take a more sedate ride.
