Family cycling events and skills areas

Join us for family cycling events and activity areas, as you develop your cycling skills.

Central

  • Sherwood Pines, Nottinghamshire
    •  Head to the 'family area' for the skills loop area any day of the week! Access will be reduced on the 22 - 24 June due to Forest Live concerts. Find out more about family cycling at Sherwood Pines.
  • Salcey Forest, Northamptonshire
    • Visit with your bike every Wednesday 10am–3pm, between 13 June to 29 August. Find out more about family cycling at Salcey Forest.
  • Birches Valley, Cannock Chase Forest, Staffordshire
    • From 14 July, find our dedicated children's cycling area open between 9am to 3pm Mon-Fri and 8.30am & 4.30pm at the weekends! (excluding 5 Aug, 9 Sep). Find out more about family cycling at Cannock Chase Forest.

West

  • Haldon Forest Park, Devon
    •  Head to the pump track and skills area to hone your skils. Find out more about family cycling at Haldon Forest Park.
  • Beechenhurst, Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire
    • Visit our Children's Cycling Area with skills course from 26 July, every Tuesday and Thursday morning until 23rd August, between 10am and 12pm. Find out more about family cycling in the Forest of Dean.

South

  • Alice Holt, Surrey
    • Cycle skills area will be available on Wednesday’s and Friday’s from 25/07 until 24/08 within the all ability cycle area, follow the signage from the cycle centre. Our qualified on site cycle centre are offering bike ability and balance ability coaching sessions throughout this time for more information click here. East

  • Bedgebury Forest and Pinetum (Kent)
    • Working with our on-site cycle shop Quench, we'll be running activities throughout the summer for you to enjoy. Also, visit our family cycling area on Saturday and Sunday morning from the 9 June. Find out more about family cycling at Bedgebury.
