The Forestry Commission is inviting tenders for the provision of a mobile catering concession at Bourne Woods in Lincolnshire. 

The lease will commence on 28 April 2017 and end 27 April 2018.

Invitation to Tender: Mobile Catering Unit Licence Opportunity for Forest Car Parks in East England Forest District

East England Forest District (EEFD) manages a number of forests across Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Kent, Sussex and the Chilterns. We are offering an Invitation to Tender (ITT) to operate a licence to locate and run a Mobile Catering Unit at one or a number forest car parks across the district.

Each site is unique and offers a different opportunity. Power and water are not supplied. There is no permanent Forestry Commission staff presence at any of the forest car parks.

The Forestry Commission has a set of criteria for the provision of food and drink within its estate which will be considered when assessing the  ITT.  These are outlined in Appendix 2 of the ITT document.

Start date- to be discussed and agreed with successful tenders after the 24th of April.  Licences would be for 1 year with potential to be renewed if the applicant has complied and performed well against the licence agreement.

Sponsorship of Cycle Trails and Facilities in the South West

The Forestry Commission is offering sponsorship opportunities at some of its key sites across the South West: Cardinham Woods, near Bodmin, Haldon Forest Park, near Exeter, Leigh Woods in Bristol and Cannop Cycling Centre in the Forest of Dean.

The sponsorship packages vary from site to site, but give relevant businesses an opportunity to support some fantastic trails and facilities for years to come. Details on all individual sites are available below.

In return, these businesses can have their brand associated with a well-respected organisation that has an excellent track record of delivering great facilities for off road cyclists.

Start dates will vary site to site– details are in the individual Expression of Interest Documents below. All agreements end 31st August 2020

Primary ticket agents for our Live Music programme.

Interested parties will be considered on a number of factors, including:

  • Database size
  • Sales experience relevant to our product (genre)
  • Geographical area served
  • Credit history
  • Ability to use FC ticket stock (no e-tickets)
  • Stance on the secondary sales market

Decisions will be made depending on opportunities available, which may be limited by existing ticket agents. Please note there is a maximum number of agents we are able to work with at any one time so opportunities may not always be available.
