Site Entry fees for Taxis

High Lodge has a site entry drop off/pick-up fee for customers arriving by taxi. The people using the facilities at High Lodge (not the Taxi firm) will be asked to pay £4.40; this charge pays for site services and facilities. The fee also applies to customers being dropprd off/picked-up by private car.

 The process will be:

  • The taxi driver takes a ticket when arriving at the entrance barriers and then passes the ticket to the customer.
  • The taxi can then drop off and the empty taxi can exit the site in the normal way by pressing the help button on exit.
  • The customer enjoys their day at High Lodge, pays for the original drop off and pick up fee (£4.40) and will then have a validated ticket ready for when they are collected later that day.
  • The returning empty taxi will need to press help when returning to pick up the customer.  They can then use the paid ticket when exiting.

It is important to note that only an empty taxi will not be charged or need to take a ticket. A taxi with passengers will need to take a ticket on entrance and have a paid ticket for exit.
