Community inclusion at Westonbirt Arboretum - People for You Westonbirt Arboretum youth activities

Bringing new audiences to Westonbirt

We work with groups in the local communtiy to enable everyone to experience and enjoy the national arboretum...

Thanks to Heritage Lottery Funding (HLF), over the past four years we've been able to work with 4944 participants and 144 groups and organisations of people from hard to reach audiences, allowing them to connect with trees through a diverse programme of onsite and outreach activities. But there is still more to do!

If you are part of or lead a community group within a 10 mile radius of Westonbirt, get in touch with our community officer to find out about our range of activities for communtity groups. You might also be eligable for our Community Access Scheme which offers discounted rates to community groups and organisations within 15 miles of the arboretum.

Activities can include anything from learning traditional woodland management skills, to mindfulness based activities to campfire cooking!

To find out more about how your local group can participate in the programe please contact our community team:
