Play area, Beechenhurst Lodge, Forest of Dean

The play area at Beechenhurst has a host of wooden play equipment for your kids to enjoy.

The pieces have been designed by play expert Andy Frost and are based around a Forest of Dean theme.

Have a go on the giant birds nest swing, ride the pit pony or climb up into the crane!

A separate toddlers area is available for our younger visitors and is sited just in front of the main play area.

Please leave dogs outside of the play area and always shut the gates.

Picnic tables are available in the play area near the zip wire, including mini versions for the children.

Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

What do other visitors say?

Is the Gruffalow trail still open this year (30 May 2015)?

sally cooper, 11/May/2015

The current trail is Superworm which runs until the end of October half term. Superworm is written by the same author as The Gruffalo, Julia Donaldson.
